Bendix are "B" body, Kelsey Hayes are "A" body, BUDD are "C" body. And those style calipers, bolt directly to the spindle, itself.

There are no "bushings" in caliper mounts for either the slider type, or pin type, disc brake caliper. If on your conversion, your using the "Pin Type" of caliper, rubber bushings are in the caliper body, on that style of caliper.

Yep, your good to go. That picture is all correct with the hoses, and bracket. All that you need now, is the rubber brake hose, itself. Common item. You have the "star" pattern hose bracket, so order up the rubber hose, for a 65-66 "A" body car with disc brakes. I buy my stuff from Rock Auto...

Some of you guys are putting way more hardship into this rotor issue. Your not building the next generation of a space shuttle. Don't worry about taking a grinding disc to a rotor.

I'v got a press, so i always just press them in. Easy, peasy.

Are you working with single piston calipers? or the four piston calipers? You have me confused with "retaining springs" pins, bushings, so i figure you have single piston calipers. Post a picture, what you have.

Can the nut and bolt be reversed? The head of the bolt on the outside, and the nut on the inside, rotor side? Never personally had to do that, but it just might work that way. Give it a try, nothing to loose.

Yes, they do. Kelsey Hayes, Mustang, and Mopar, same pistons, same calipers, except for slight differences in hose attachment on the calipers between the Ford, and Mopar. I have purchased, used, the Scott Drake, ones numerous times throughout all the years, in my rebuilding.

I have the official Miller Special Tool Company, special tool, from back in the dinosaur days, in getting pistons out of the Kelsey Hayes, 4 piston calipers. So it's no big deal at all for me in getting stuck pistons out of their bores, or ones that will easily come out. Yes i know of that...

As others have already replied. Parts store items. I have bleeder screws that look like this. Something like this, what your after, at the stores.

Yes, 3/8 X 24.

Use the one with all the metal lines on it. It will work just fine.

Minimum thickness is usually cast into the back of the rotor, and everything that i have ever seen is.790. Don't sweat it, if the rotors come out somewhat under that figure. There had to be a standard thickness number, and that's what has always been used.
