is this the brackets used for an A-body power brake booster? A friend did that on his 66 A-body and had issues that I believe he decided was related to the pedal ratio.
same thing for mounting the gauge on the cowl: two stainless steel sheet metal screws into an aluminum plate in the cowl. held the plate in place with tape through the drivers side vent box.
frame connectors so you don't crack paint/wrinkle sheet metal with all the torque?
looked in the FSM and one drawing in lubrication makes it look like it's a "full unibody" frame. Is that so?

you and me both...I remember unloading a Dana60 by myself. we did leave the wheels and tires on and slid it out of the bed of the truck BUT...it bounced. missed me.
