Pardon my dumb question but will this fit in a 383 block?

I believe the parts he is selling are the same for 9 or 10" conversion. The difference is the adapter bracket you buy from Scarebird.

Why are they selling this? I assume it didn't work out for them in their drag car.... Has the builder built any more of these or was this a one off?
