I used to have a rusty *** 79 Ramcharger wire a 400 4 spd. In four low if you dumped the clutch it would pull the front wheels off the ground. You could also see it in the black marks that it would leave. There was a 12" gap in the front tire burnout mark. Yes, it would squeal/spin all four tires.

I have always liked 12 point for the additional angles available when tightening and loosening. I like the looks of 12 point mostly. My entire engine is almost all ARP 12 point bolts, nuts and studed where possible.

Well, I got better than a steal of a deal. Confirmed it is a 2780930-340 block. He told me to give him $150.00 for it all (block, crank rods and pistons). Best part is the pistons are not the used take out pistons. They are a new set of +.030 pistons that the block has already been piston fit to...

I told him to get the #'s off of the block for me first. If it a 340 or 360 I will take it. If it a 318 probably not (kind of like a Chevy 305). LOL. But he says he knows it is a 340. I told him to verify before he brings it in & I hand him the cash.
