    Stock Market

How do you guys feel about the popular covered call ETF's out there? Some of them are paying pretty high dividends. Are the dividends sustainable long term?

    Summit site getting updated

Did you try giving them a call? They'd know better than a bunch of Mopar boneheads on the internet. The site works fine for me btw.

What do you have and what are you trying to do?

    Head liner

The earlier ones used bows and the later ones used a hardboard headliner. I think the cutoff year was 71-72, but not 100% sure.

Last time I called Oregon cams, Ken recommended Hylift Johnson for flat tappet lifters.

    Warning about counterfeit parts

Speedmaster79 is the "Speedmaster" that is referred to often by folks on this site with respect to their cylinder heads, 40% off sale, rocker arms, etc., and the video in the first post. Speedmaster79 is their website.

    Warning about counterfeit parts

Surprising that they had the nuts to put the guy's name on it. That's some bullshit. At the very least, they could've put their name on the copied design like the do with the cylinder heads they produce. :poke:

    Covid meds

Why not get a new doctor that you trust?

    Covid meds

Did you ask your doctor about the higher than normal cholesterol and A1C? I'm no doctor, but maybe the abnormal labs are a result of the infection itself or a combination of the two (virus and meds)? The body does weird stuff when it's fighting infection. Good luck!

It's time to have a serious discussion about end-of-life priorities

I'm with abodyjoe. When I'm dead, I won't care what they do with my corpse because I'll be dead. Shoot, feed me to some lions at the zoo for all I care.

My fingers are crossed for ya. Good luck.

    Anyone near Unlimited Products/Unlimited Fiberglass?

That's badass! I'm guess you paid for parts that they weren't shipping??

    Anyone near Unlimited Products/Unlimited Fiberglass?

I don't live near this business, and it sounds like you've got someone to help you, but I tried to get some information on several scoops they sell. They were less than helpful and I'll just leave it at that. I'd never give them a dime.

    Anyone near Unlimited Products/Unlimited Fiberglass?

Is this the one you're referring to? Unlimited Performance Products - Powered by Network Solutions.

    Are you a Mopar purist?

If it's just an old hotrod, I don't care what engine (or other parts) is in it. I'll probably end up dropping my 340 into a '30-'31 Model A coupe hotrod at some point just because it's proving to be damn near impossible to locate a 30's vintage Dodge/Plymouth coupe to build.

Jumper cables? Nah....there is a newer better solution.

That's very similar to the one I have. It works great! Don't expect it to turnover an engine with a completely dead battery. It's perfect if the battery just needs a little extra juice though. Mine's saved my *** a couple times - though I still carry jumper cables. I top off the charge every...

    Beware new member "Prints Valiant"

Remember that dickhead who joined the forum to get his hands on the magnum intake/head drill jig that another member made? Thank god for the ignore feature. Once one person has their username mentioned in one of these treads, I instantly put them on ignore. It's one other way to protect yourself.

They said it wouldn't work, you did it anyway. How did that work out for you?

Never drive a spool on the street. You'll spin out, kill yourself and any bystanders nearby. Same with a roll cage on the street. Don't do it. :poke:

    Trying to summon the motivation

Well, the offer's there. I don't mind at all. I hate asking for help too, so I get it. I actually like doing manual labor though. It's the kind of work that makes you feel good afterwards. You got the right idea though - slowly chipping away will get it done eventually. I'm glad the cars didn't...

    Trying to summon the motivation

Damn Greg! How'd the Mopar stable fare? Looks like they were spared? Give me a holler if you ever need a hand with that kind of stuff. I wouldn't mind lending a hand. That's a pain in the *** for one person.

    Trying to summon the motivation

In the winter time, progress on my car projects slows waaaay down. With the short days, by the time I'm done with work, gym, and house chores there just isn't enough daylight left for any meaningful progress on car projects. If I've got an easy bench project to work on, I'll piddle on that...

What do you guys think of hands-free driving in the newer cars?

What's sad is those computers probably drive better than a good portion of drivers currently out there.

Wow. Have you noticed the HUGE amount of stuff for sale here lately?

In that instance, you can report that $700 as a "personal item sold at a loss" which zeros out the $700 from the 1099K. Voila, no taxes owed.

Lumber question for those in the building trades

Didn't the lumber back then have tighter grain too? I would think a 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" board back then would probably be much stronger than today's lumber just because of that.
