    What type of Leaf Springs?

Just got it back tonight and what a difference...ride height is now 22 1/2" at the wheel well, up from 21 1/4"...Handling improved also...no more exhaust bottoming out!! Glad I went with the stock height. Any higher and it wouldn't look right with the whole tire exposed. First pic is after...

    What type of Leaf Springs?

Looking to replace my leaf springs and trash the old originals off my '66 Barracuda Formula S. Already spoke with 'Springs N' Things' just need to deicde if I want stock, 1" or 2" over height. Motor is only putting out 285 - 300hp but I'm a big guy - 300lbs so I'm leaning towards the 2" over...

Any options besides air shocks for a 2"-3" lift?

Update...Installed KYB rear shocks and the 20" Leaf Spring helpers that TRAPSTER mentioned. Only gained 1 1/4" in height but handling & ride improved immensely! I'm very pleased with the setup. ZooKypr

Any options besides air shocks for a 2"-3" lift?

I'm really liking "TRAPSTER'S" idea of the leaf spring helpers. I think I'm leaning towards the 20" (1500lbs) leaf spring helpers with a heavy duty shock . Thx for all the insight fellas and anyone else who has an idea or advice feel free to post it. Keep ya posted. ZooKypr

Any options besides air shocks for a 2"-3" lift?

What air pressure do to have in them? I like mine @ 85-95psi for the right stance. Mine have been on for 9yrs & 6000miles. I recently had one come off the top rear mount! I lost the bushing, lug & washer. I checked my other shock and found the lugs only hand tight. Have yours ever come...

Any options besides air shocks for a 2"-3" lift?

'66 Barracuda Form. S - Currently I'm running air shocks and want to know if there any other option for a 2"-3" lift? I know beefier leaf springs is probably the best option but is there a rear shock that is 2"-3" taller than the OEM shocks but still give my ride proper shock absorption then...

HELP!!! Lost shock nut & bushing!!!!

That would be the common sense thing to do BUT....I loaned my floor jack to my buddy and I'm too big to crawl underneath. I didn't think I could "stump the pros" with these two question. Someone hear knows the answers or I guess she'll have to sit idle til I get my jack back after Carlisle...

HELP!!! Lost shock nut & bushing!!!!

I heard a clunk in the rear while cruising today. When I got home I noticed that the rear ride height was low. I tried to add air but no movement. Check air lines, OK....checked driver side shock and 'holy $hitz' it was off the upper body mount. The mounitng nut and 'shock eye bushing' were...
