I'm starting to go through the process of firing up my motor it's a fresh built 408 and I wanted to get some oil flow through the motor so I pulled the plugs and spun the motor over and got a horrible noise from the starter. The starter is a Dakota style starter and a lakewood cast bellhousing has anyone had issues like this and another question is how far should the starter gear be from the flywheel
