I understand, I just replaced 1 set of shoes and spring due to slop, and it's sloppy again after not alot of miles. I thought maybe the coupler body was worn, but it was good when I first put it together. Cley

What is the best replacement steering coupler for a 74 Duster? I rebuilt the stock one and after 3000 miles, it's already a bit sloppy. I'm thinking I should go to a Ujoint style coupler. Any experience appreciated! Cley

Make sure your kick down linkage is correct before you tear anything apart. That is cheap to free. Make sure your kick down arm ss all the way back when the carb is all the way open. There are lots of great comments here, but chech the cheap/free stuff first. Cley

Honestly a flap disc on a die grinder is probably the safest hack way to enlarge the holes. Just go slow! Cley

I tried 18x8.5 Enkei Raijin from a WRX on my Duster. Center bore is slightly small but I was able to open it up. With a stock width A body 8-3/4 I needed 2" spacers to make it work. B body diff would be way better. I didn't mind the look of them, but they made my stock brakes look foolishly...

Fronts are in. They sit high, even after I shaved the factory bench seat mounting hump on the floor. I am 6' tall and they are fine for me. Much taller and they would be uncomfortable. The seats themselves are very nice! I am super happy I chose them. Cley

Installed seats from a Chrysler 300 into my Duster! Cley

I gotta say, some of that 5-600 lbs is in the front seats! Damn they are heavy! Cley

Back seats are in for good. They are a 2 piece seat since in the 300 they fold down in 2 different sections so I used a couple pieces of 1/8" x 3/4" aluminum flat stock at 4' long to hold them together. These pieces also hang the seats from the stock upper hangers and bolt them to the rear fire...

Well it looks like it will work really well! These are just sitting in there, but they fit like a glove! I'll share more as I get further along. Cley
