Yea, that happens all the time around here. Colorado just recently implemented a tax for anything that is delivered to you whether it’s food from a local pizza joint or online purchase.
The best carb shop I know of and have used them for hard to find kits. Call and ask for Jim or Jarred, they have been doing this for a long time.

I’ve been a similar situation although MUCH smaller scale. Where I had a guy build an engine with mostly my supplied parts. I didn’t ask him his rate, how much he thought it would cost or anything like time ect. I knew I could trust him and this was at the top of my list. Like they say...

I pay taxes, it’s just let’s say have a part you sell for x amount of money. The government doesn’t know how you got it. You may have bought it, got it with/in a car or truck. It’s not 100% profit. Why should we have to deal with every little thing we buy and sell in this world as private...
