Dark, couldn’t find what I did with last couple slips, but went out 011 red. Sucks because ran dead on with a zero 6.56( new best) and opponent was beatable with an 025 bulb. Picked up 125 bucks for my efforts. Feels good to get a check against these guys first time out. Hadn’t strung that many...

In same air I set the best in last year(6.602) I would have picked up 3 maybe 4 numbers in the 1/8. Previous was in 1500 DA, first pass of year, this one, was over 3200 DA Soft 60 ft too. These tires are on their last event. Car has been 1.41. Anyhow, think the new carb picked it up some...

So, come in to work early to load up to head to the track. Pull truck trailer around to load golf cart and car. Go to pull out ramps to load golf cart first… friggin someone stole the ramps that slide out from the side. They even bothered to put the chain and pins back so I wouldn’t notice them...

Got new carb on and sorted out. Went for drive, has a light miss at cruise rpm, runs good wide open Added power valve in front, took out plug. Used 6/5, and 78 jets in front. Gonna try 80’s and try a quick cruise again and see how it acts at cruise rpm. Not sure if 4/5 power valve would be...

I have a derale, they make very nice fans and don’t overrate the cfm like some do. US company too.

It’s about 45 minutes southeast of Norwalk. Owners just spent a ton on it few years back completely renovating the place. By all accounts super place to race. 1/4 mile facility. I have yet to go there, this event will be my first visit, but I know a lot of guys who have raced there.
