Stock 14" wheels for 67 Barracuda ?????Suregrip391 04-29-2006, 07:23 PM Are these 5.5" wide and does anyone know what the backspace is on them? (Factory 14" steel wheels with the "bolt through" formula S wheel covers) Longgone 05-03-2006, 12:45 AM I have a set of the steel wheels from my 68 4mula-s and they`re 14 x 6.5`s with 4"bc. I`ll check the backspace tomorrow and (if I can remember) post it for you. I think the regular Cuda`s did come with 5.5`s Longgone 05-03-2006, 09:11 PM Suregrip- the 5.5`s have a backspace of 3.5 in. and the 6.5`s have a backspace of 3.75. They `re both 14" wheels. The 5.5`s would have D-70/14`s tires mounted on them and the 6.5`s would have E-70/14`s. Most all of the Formula-S Cudas and GTS Darts came with the 6.5 rims. HTH. Thats great. I appreciate you taking the time to measure and figure this out. :thumblef: dgc333 05-04-2006, 07:04 AM Suregrip- the 5.5`s have a backspace of 3.5 in. and the 6.5`s have a backspace of 3.75. There were no wheels from the factory for the small bolt circle that were any wider than 5.5". If you have 6.5" wide steel wheels then they are after market. The base car wheel width was 4.5" Longgone 05-04-2006, 03:49 PM I`m sorry ,I`m measuring overall width. The 6.5`s are 5.5 inside and the 5.5`s are 4.5 inside. The backspace remains the same. Thanks to dgc333 for pointing that out. | |||
