69signetv8 07-11-2006, 08:48 PM Show your wheels, chat, have a :coffee2: .
Excellent place "every" Friday evening 5PM - 10PM. This is a free "open" Show & Shine that just seemed to stick and has as many as 200+ cars. After a few hours of chat and show, then Cruise your wheels to the Victoria waterfront.
I wish to see more MOPARs and hope that any members from out of town visiting Victoria drop in so we can have a get together.

DemonDave 01-18-2007, 05:24 PM That's a good cruise. I've seen a wicked Hemi-powered Duster there many times that just makes me weak in the knees.

custom100 02-03-2007, 11:46 PM hay do you guys get together there all year round or is it only a spring summer fall thing. i grew up in victoria and my car is being stored at my parent place in sidney it would be cool to meet you guys/gals and do some bench racing and shoot the sh** the next time that i'm down from the north island.
65Val 02-04-2007, 12:14 AM So, judging by your nick ,"custom100", can I assume that you do indeed own a Valiant Custom 100?
I'm travelling to Victoria Feb.20-25. I'm going to be driving to Nanaimo to see some friends, probably on Wed. or Thu. I remember seeing a Duster up on a pole along that highway, is that a wrecking yard? Speaking of cars on poles, there's a place called the Coombs or something like that, do you know it? I remember seeing a white Dodge A100 van on a pole too!
Should I try to stop at this Duster place?
Cerwin 02-04-2007, 12:02 PM haha, ya the ORANGE duster is a wrecking yard, but he will tell you the same as he tells everyone.. he has no moparts... meanwhile, you go behind his place to another field. and theres a couple.. so hes a lier, or he actually doesnt own them.. but dont let that detur you.. id stop.. i ALWAYS STOP.
jim and i found a gold mine yesterday.. soo.. i stopped.. haha
and coombs yes thats be side parksville.. coombs market is a big thing in the sumer and there are tons of hot chick that show up for some reason
actually just down the way from coombs is where i found a 66 b'cuda sitting in knee high grass rotting away.. v8 car.. makes me sad i dont get to go there that often orelse i would own that gem.
as for that A100.. the yards up there last i heard had nothing and i call them once and a while..

Hey Neil, you and I should hook up and tell old CAM stories. Gil sent me the pics that he took at that wrecking yard in New York you guys went to a couple of weeks ago... times like that I wish I still lived in Ottawa.
Mopar yards are hard to come by these days, as was mentioned above, besides that Duster on the stick, there's nothing in the yard. There was an amazing yard at Horne Lake (near Qualicum Beach) loaded with Mo but he shut down a year or so ago and everything went to the crusher. Very sad. I took Gil there when he visited me for my wedding in 2004 as he just about soiled himself in there (lots of c-body treasures).
Dave
Gil sent you the photos? It's all supposed to be TOP SECRET! I don't even have the photos yet! I'm going to post them on the CAM site with just a "Here's some photos" comment. Some guys around here will want to know where the place is soooooo bad!
My wife is working in Victoria that week, I'll be free every day from 9-5. I have friends to visit and cousin and uncle, but otherwise I'm looking for stuff to do I guess. I'm going to stop and take a photo of the Duster on a stick, but I guess I won't go in...who knows, maybe you're all lying though and I SHOULD go in? Maybe it's a goldmine and you're hogging it to yourselves!
DemonDave 02-04-2007, 04:31 PM Gil sent you the photos? It's all supposed to be TOP SECRET! I don't even have the photos yet!
Well, he didn't tell me where it was and since I'm 4000+ kilometers away knowing the location would be of no use to me. I'd really like to find out where that Mopar wrecking yard in Alberta is where all of the "cars in barns" pics from the MapleLeafMopar website were taken!
I'm going to stop and take a photo of the Duster on a stick, but I guess I won't go in...who knows, maybe you're all lying though and I SHOULD go in? Maybe it's a goldmine and you're hogging it to yourselves!
If it's a goldmine, I don't know about it. When I went inside to inquire (Gil was with me, he'll vouch), I was told the only Mopars were in Horne Lake so we went there. Still, I'd be interested in knowing if the impaled Duster is a real TorRed 340 car and if they'd notice if I rented a helicopter and stole it off of the pole in the middle of the night. ;)
65Val 02-04-2007, 11:08 PM I heard the owner has been offered a fair whack'o'dough for the "Dust(r)Sicle". I believe the yard changed hands within the past year or 2, so the new guy might be in a selling mood. As for Mopes,i've been in there for other(read off-brand) parts and havent noticed any Hemi-Cuda 'verts just hanging around. Never hurts to stop if you're in the area, though.
""My wife is working in Victoria that week, I'll be free every day from 9-5.""
Those are pretty much my working hours too, but if you're free outside of that time, we could maybe get together for a "Timmy's"...or sumpin stronger!
custom100 02-04-2007, 11:41 PM So, judging by your nick ,"custom100", can I assume that you do indeed own a Valiant Custom 100?
yes i do own a custom 100 2dr hrdtop/273, it was on the road up intill about 3 years ago. its burgandy with a black roof, it was my daily driver when i was living in victoria
demondave is horn lake still around and how are the pickens there? as for the wrecker in alberta i think i may have let the cat out of the bag on that one on a different post. but i guess there could be mor than one wrecker that deals with mopar stuff in alberta

No, Horne Lake shut down last year and crushed everything. It's a real shame as there were some neat cars in there.
custom100 02-05-2007, 12:31 AM :thumbdow: :thumbdow: that sucks :pain10:

Bring your "rain coat"
I was really bummed when they cleared everything out at Horne Lake, I have a few trinkets hanging on the shop wall from there, that place was great to just wonder around. We have a cabin not far from there, near Coombes actually, it's a cool area. There's a great little car show in Coombes on the Sat before the big Parksville show Aug long weekend, any of you guys go to either of those shows?

Not yet Rob, however I've been told Parksville is excellent, also Port Alberni has one of the largest on the island...three days: The car show itself (open to all) The day drive-by and then open drags at some airport around there.
Cerwin 02-05-2007, 01:14 PM every year.. actually last year i was looking around instead of infront of me and almost drove into a hemi cuda.. dum dee dum dummm.. i left 3 feet of black lines missing his bumper im sure by maybe a foot to a foot and a half.. my GF can vouche for me actually so could the bruise on my are, but that has dissapeared
The Parksville show is really big, 700 or a 1000 cars depending on who you listen too. The Coombes one is much smaller but a really good little show, maybe 250 cars? If you guys are up there you should swing by for a beer :toothy7:

I've been up to the Parksville show twice and was certainly impressed by both the cars and the scenery. Beautiful area. The only thing that ruined it for me the last year I went was seeing Dennis Gage wandering around. J/K. It was his mustache that ruined it. :D Qualicum Beach has a nice show on the streets of downtown as well that's worth seeing. Sort of a mini-Langley show. Also, if you're out my way, the Sidney show is fun and again, they shut down the downtown streets for the show cars. Speaking of downtown, are they planning the Inner Harbour show for 2007?
PS: I try to hit the Mopar show at Beaver Lake (Vic) every year though although I missed it in 2006 as I was working in Vancouver at the time. Driving by, it looks like they're going to have to move a pretty big tree that's lying in the show field for this year's show.

Sidney show, by torquemasters :headbang: :headbang: Makes for a good day, been in it a few times.
I've been to the Sidney show, very good show. I really like the ones where they shut down the streets, makes it very efficient seeing the cars, the PArksville one on the beach is kind of a funny shape so it's hard to pick a decent route to wonder through. We're going to check out the Qualicum one this year, heard it was great too. I assume you mean the Deuces Northwest show in the inner harbour, I can't remember if it's this year or not? I think the last one was 2004 so it probably is this year.
Anyone want to get together for supper or coffee or something on Wednesday night? I'll be in town all week but Wednesday is my only available night, busy plans the rest of the time while I'm visiting. Just a thought.....
Neil.

Yeah, I'm in Victoria Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'm driving to Nanaimo to see friends on Thursday. My wife and I have plans every day, except Wednesday...she has to work all day and night so I figured it was a good time to meet up maybe. I'm not in the habit of meeting strangers, but Mopar brothers is a different story, ya know?
65Val 02-19-2007, 10:11 AM Neil...I'm up for a get-together. We could do a Timmy's coffee and donuts,or beer and wings,or something else. Hey, Victoria Posse ,(Cerwin, 69Signet,Rob,Demondave(if you're around), and anyone else in the area),what do you think? Input please.
Neil, where are you staying? If its a nice day, I'll pick you up in the Dart.
Depending on where and when I may be able to make it, I work until 3:30. Beer and wings at the Monkey around 4:00 could certainly work.
DemonDave 02-19-2007, 11:48 AM I'm not in the habit of meeting strangers, but Mopar brothers is a different story, ya know?
I think Uncle Jesse said it best: "A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet.". :p Besides, I'm a friend of a friend of yours so it's almost like you know me! ;)
I think it's supposed to rain all week. I'm staying at the Empress downtown. anytime works for me. What's the monkey?
69signetv8 02-19-2007, 02:15 PM Sound good, I'm in....for a few coffees. I think it's the Monkey Tree on Mackenze by the ICBC. "Tim's" is there as well for starters. And no...I'm not putting a "Hi my name is" sticker on my shirt LOL

Well, I'm back in Ottawa now. Much colder here!
It was fun to meet you guys and the Monkey Tree Pub will definitely deserve another visit next time I'm in town. Sorry I got there late, good thing you didn't all leave. The eye candy was worth the trip alone!
I always enjoy seeing all the daily drivers around town...here's what I can remember seeing cruising around town...
- a beat up green Canadian '64 Valiant with a very old driver.
- a white Plymouth Fury Convertible.
- a faded blue Notchback Barracuda (saw it twice!)
- a purple Dodge A100 window van.
- a dark 4 door '69 Valiant (parked at St.Micheals University school...had to visit there as I was a student there...that's another story!)
- Jim's '69 Valiant (nice ride man!)
- The Duster-sicle (on route to Nanaimo)
- lots of 1970's Dodge vans
Countless other vintage cars like original Honda Civics, Mustangs, a Pinto, 1950's VW's, a couple of hot rods and a couple of old T-birds too.
I hope to be back soon guys....
Cerwin 02-26-2007, 01:07 PM the 64 is dave owens.. he has some other sweet mopars!

That's Dave Owens' daily driver. He's a process server by day, and the organizer of the "Island Mopars" club by night. Good guy!
I enjoyed it too, Neil. Definitely let us know when you're in town next, hopefully during a summer, and we can show you way more cars and happenings.
We'll definitley have to do it again, funny that we needed an excuse (Neil being in town) to do it in the first place. We should try to do that with some sort of regularity.

Amen, Rob. When Francelli's gets going again in the spring, we'll have to get together there and maybe do some car shows as a group!
Apparently my wife has another trade show thing in November....I might just go with her. That's a long way away I know, but I'm giving you lots of time to get your cars ready!
65Val 03-30-2007, 12:27 AM Heck...My Dart will be Saran-wrapped by the end of October :wav: :wav: :wack:
Okay guys, I need some non-Mopar help here. A relative of mine has a house in Victoria they rent out. It needs some roofing done and we're having a hard time finding a reputable and trust-worthy roofer. Can you recommend someone?
We had a quote from Vintage Cedar Roof Restorations, Owner Mark at 889-1117 that was out of this world!
If you can help, please message me. Thanks!
custom100 04-20-2007, 06:14 PM hay guys it looks like traci and i will be down to victoria from the 26th to the 29th. it would be cool if we could get together for a coffee or some thing stronger?
Thanks Jimmy for the referral. We called him and he said he'd go out and look, but he's never returned our call. I went hunting for more roofers on Used Victoria.com. Out of 5 different roofers only 1 got back with a price quote and when asked he provided references too. He's our man I think, Halliday Roofing. Thanks.

DemonDave 06-07-2007, 10:13 AM I'm an Island member no more... or at least in 2 weeks I won't be. I got that sweet gov't job in Ottawa I've been chasing after and will be Ontario-bound at the end of June.
I didn't get to meet you local guys unfortunately but I'll get to see Neil in his natural habitat soon enough! ;)

It's sort of aviation, but not wrenching on crappy airplanes for cheapskate owners... I'll be working at the NRC at their Gas Turbine Propulsion Lab doing R&D and running jet engines in a test cell. Pretty neat work and being a gov't job, full benefits including a pension! :)
custom100 06-09-2007, 12:36 PM that sound like it would be fun, do you get to try and get more power out of the turbine?
so i guess there will be no more cold hangers, working outside, or dealing with customers for you........... you lucky sob

DemonDave 06-13-2007, 12:56 PM I'll still be here, not leaving until the first ferry on the 23rd. After the 19th I won't have any furniture though. :p

DemonDave 06-17-2007, 09:46 PM your taking off next saturday dave or sooner?
maybe tuesday night we could all get together?
Leaving on the first ferry Saturday morning. Tuesday might be bad as that's the day the movers are coming so I'll be running around like a lunatic all day and may just pass out after dinner... have to see how it goes. :p
custom100 06-18-2007, 01:33 PM well it does not have to be tuesday night if wednesday works better for you. i'm on holidays so every thing is wide open to me
DemonDave 06-22-2007, 11:28 AM Sorry I've been incommunicado but I've just been really busy getting prepped for this move. We're leaving first thing tomorrow morning so today is a wipe out with loading the trucks, cleaning the apartment and a million other incidental things. Looks like we'll never meet unless you find yourself out in Ottawa so best of luck up-Island with the helicopters and I'll see everyone here on the forums when I get settled in out east! :)
custom100 06-22-2007, 01:07 PM hay dave no big deal tarci and i moved from dawson creek to port mcneill last year i totaly under stand. good luck and have a safe drive out to ontario, as for seeing you in ottawa well i've got family out there so it may happen. best of luck to you to with the new job, try not to get to comfortable working inside.
DemonDave 06-22-2007, 04:16 PM I'm more worried about my feet falling asleep while propped up on my desk than anything else! :D
If you do ever make it to Ottawa, I could show you a pretty good time. I have lots of Mopar friends out there and there's a cruise almost every night during the summer. I'm really looking forward to being back!
custom100 06-23-2007, 02:39 PM well i'll be think of ya with the feet up the next time that i'm working on an inspection in the rain. good luck there though.

65Val 06-23-2007, 03:19 PM If the weather stays dry, I'll probably be there.
69signetv8 06-23-2007, 04:44 PM It's calling for rain (piss me off). It is summer, right?? To the weather man :thebirdm:
69signetv8 06-28-2007, 02:35 PM Hi guy's, If the weathers not bad (no rain at least) I'll be at Francellis Saturday around 5-6 PM or so.

69signetv8 08-04-2007, 04:07 PM I'll be at Francellis tonight about 5-ish....if anyones going:wave:
What's this Francelli's all about?
I'm coming out to Victoria again, this Saturday until next Saturday. My wife's got a work thing again, so I'm just tagging along....free room and board, I just have to pay my air fare.
I still haven't met Demon Dave...out there or here! Funny how that works....
So is there any other night of the week with car events or what?
65Val 11-01-2007, 10:46 PM Neil...Francelli's has pretty much wound-up for the year. They had the wind-up night a couple of weeks ago with a live band and such. Not much car stuff doin' this time of year, but that doesn't mean we can't all get together for a beer or something.
Whatya say, gang???? I think Neil needs a good time to take his mind off his recent nasty experience!!!
DemonDave 11-02-2007, 10:48 AM I still haven't met Demon Dave...out there or here! Funny how that works....
I've been around... ask Gil! The guy's at my house most evenings since I got back.
It's only a matter of time until we meet... the waiting will just sweeten the experience! :D
Well I can't wait to see this cool car you bought. I think I'm in the market for a car too, but that's another story.
DemonDave 11-03-2007, 09:51 AM *snip* I think I'm in the market for a car too, but that's another story.
:(
Did your insurance company write it off then? Too bad, I never got to see it. Might be time to take your drivetrain and plunk it into a "rust-free" Wayne Rowe body shell. There's also that rolling chassis Duster that was floating around UsedOttawa, com as well.
Cars are out there, we'll find you a good one! :)
Ya, they want to write it off but the car has emotional value to me, not just financial value so I will probably keep it and repair it. The whole thing makes me sick, so I might just have to turn my back on it for a while and just find something else to drive for now....but I won't part with the car. It's a real Formula S, well documented and originally black on black (but now with red interior). Too nice to let them scrap it.
Anyhow, I'm here in Victoria sitting on my wife's work laptop at the Empress hotel. Where's the party!?
Victoria Spotters Review
I'm having a great old time car watching! I always love Victoria. Here's what I've seen, just today actually....
'65 Valiant, white w/blue interior. Talked to the guy actually.
'66 Valiant 4-door, creamy colour
'67 Dart, light blue, real nice with nice modern mags
'6? Dodge A100 van, white with an orange parts van beside it...downtown in a parking lot
'72? Dart, sublime. on Quadra towards Saanich
Lots of other cool cars too...some Chevys, an old Ford van, a Model T hot rod, lots of cool VW's and all kinds of stuff! I love it!
I guess we'll GT another time guys.
65Val 11-06-2007, 12:28 AM Neil...when you going back?
Early tomorrow morning, no time for GT's now. That's okay, I'll be back next year I think. I hope I get here in the summer so I can take in some car shows or cruises ya know? I feel like carrots are dangling in front of me all the time while I'm here.
DemonDave 02-18-2008, 07:42 PM I need some Island time... anyone free end of March? Vacation plans in the works... :)
70DartMike 03-29-2008, 05:02 AM hey guys im from parksville here, its a little late to post about the duster on the pole but ill let you guys in on what i know about it and mopars around the area. im the kinda guy that has to stop even if it risks getting shot ahaha.
the duster on the pole! from what ive gathered, its a 70 duster, 318, the guy wants $2500 for it, but he doesnt have any mopars in his yard. but next to his is Coal Town auto, they sometimes have old mopars in their yard, ive seen a few darts, a roadrunner, etc. And actually on the street behind those wreckers there is a guy i talked to once, he's got a few 340 demons out front as well as an old fargo p/u, and a 72 dart, but rumor has it his yard is just packed with oldies.
as for horne lake, its really too bad the owner crushed everything, he did have a lot of neat stuff. i remember walking through there over and over, lots of 74-76 darts, two 70 darts, a 68 roadrunner shell, a 68 or 69 complete coronet, i have no idea why i never picked it up, a ton of 60s valiants, a 70-72 duster, lots of 70s model valiants, and he had a plymouth VIP that he built for his son for his first car, but he fabbed on to it a pair of 59 caddy fins with tail lights, and said the caddy was the first car in that yard when he started it. but at the same time, when he was crushing it all, i offered him more than what he would get from the crusher for a complete 70 dart, and he turned me down saying he had a quota, so that was a pretty big piss off.
as for coombs area, there is a ton of stuff in people's back yards, but like anywhere, you have to search for it. a friend of mine lives out that area and collects big block cars from the 50s to late 70s, and lots of vintage hemis. he probably has 500 big block cars out there.
as for meeting you guys for lunch sometime, i'd be down for that.
im living in victoria right now attending camosun for electrical. unfortunatly the dart isnt yet finished so perhaps one of you could pick me up or something on a nice day in your nice vehicle?
DemonDave 09-15-2008, 04:18 PM the duster on the pole! from what ive gathered, its a 70 duster, 318, the guy wants $2500 for it, but he doesnt have any mopars in his yard.
Is that as-is where-is? For $2500 I expect it at ground level! :D
69bronzeT5 11-16-2008, 12:15 AM I still can't believe the Horne Lake place closed down. I phoned one day and asked if they had '69 Charger parts. He said "Yes, we have 3 '69s"...I almost sh!t myself. I can't believe they crushed everything. WHAT A WASTE!!!!!!! I'm having a lot of problems finding parts for my Charger on the island. Does anyone have pictures from the Horne Lake yard? I'd be REALLY interested in seeing them. Also, the place with the Duster on the pole, you guys say there is a field out back with Mopars? If you go into the junkyard, is the field visable?
I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Cody. I'm 16 and I'm in Duncan. I have a '69 Charger R/T tribute pro-tourer in progress and a '73 Duster daily driver which I'm slowly turning into a road racer.
65Val 11-16-2008, 12:19 AM Welcome Cody!!...from just slightly south of you. Is your Charger on the road? If so, did you make it to Francelli's this last summer anytime?
Not sure how many Mope's are left in that yard, but it is definitely an auto wrecker yard.

Nope, it's not on the road. It hasen't been since the late 80's.
So if I go to the Duster yard and look around, I might be able to spot some Mopars? Also, whats this I hear about the road behind the Naniamo yards? There's Demons or something like that in yards on it?
70DartMike 11-16-2008, 11:56 PM Nope, it's not on the road. It hasen't been since the late 80's.

Cody, Mike from Parksville here. I've been to the Duster on the pole place, it's I believe 2 auto wreckers left of Coaltown Auto Wrecking. The Duster place doesn't have anything old. All 1990 and up. Coaltown often has /6 Darts and C bodies, things like that. As for behind those auto wreckers, there is a street there. Some farms and things on it. There is a guy who did have a couple Demons a few years ago, one was a complete running /6 car, and one was a shell of a 340 car. He also had a 72 Dart and an early Fargo pickup. As for anything else, I've heard he has a lot more pushed in the woods behind his house, like a LOT, but he won't let anyone back there to see.
Now, as for 69 Charger parts, there is a guy by the name of Glen, also known as the Corvette Kid, he lives in Qualicum on a farm. He has a couple 69 Hemi Chargers in his mass of cars, along with some other Chargers, but the guy is a complete rip off. He will charge you an arm and a leg for anything, and you have to be there at the right time to even get anything. He will often tell you 'yes I'll sell this part' but if you go to get money and come back the same day, he will have changed his mind. You have to have money there, not knowing how much he will want, and then get the part. And he'll most likely pull it, or stand over you and watch you pull it. But, he does have some really rare cars in that yard.

70DartMike 11-17-2008, 11:27 PM Do you think he'd let me check out the cars and take a few pics?
I don't know if he'd let you take pics, but its worth a shot. I can PM you how to get to his place if you want.

Sure. I won't be able to go for a year (I still have my L) but mine as well in case I forget.
custom100 11-22-2008, 11:28 PM Hey guys it sounds like there is a couple of guys on the island that have some parts.
Though if you don't mind going off the island there are a couple of mopar wreckers out there. One in Alberta by the name of Flatla, I have bought part from him and he is great. You will find the contact # in the central Alberta forum. The other place is in the states in Oregon I think it's called Wildcat.
They are both good wreckers and I have had good results.
69bronzeT5 02-11-2009, 04:37 PM More snow yesterday....I WANT SUMMER:angry7:
69bronzeT5 03-01-2009, 08:10 PM Quick question, where do you guys get your sheetmetal from?
shovhd 06-15-2010, 03:20 PM Hi everyone. Can anyone recommend a machine shop/engine builder on the island (the closer to Courtenay the better)? anyone I should definately stay away from?
Thanks
grassy 06-15-2010, 05:51 PM Show your wheels, chat, have a :coffee2: .
Excellent place "every" Friday evening 5PM - 10PM. This is a free "open" Show & Shine that just seemed to stick and has as many as 200+ cars. After a few hours of chat and show, then Cruise your wheels to the Victoria waterfront.
I wish to see more MOPARs and hope that any members from out of town visiting Victoria drop in so we can have a get together.

grassy 06-16-2010, 07:17 AM LOL. You can't call PEI an island anymore Grassy. They got a bridge now. :bootysha: :-D
So does Cape Breton...:toothy10::toothy10::toothy10:
shovhd 06-16-2010, 10:28 AM Not that I'd mind having a bridge or tunnel to the mainland. At $100 for a ferry ride, it makes travelling a pain. Does tend to keep the riff-raff out though.
grassy 06-16-2010, 11:35 AM When we lived on PEI when there was only a ferry,...the wait times were up to 24 hours!!
Later in life I learned to ride a motorcycle .they would be tucked in places where cars couldn't go...some of my my friends would carry over a cow..no wait for livestock..they would park the cow at a friends house and pick it up on the way home..I am *not* sad that there is a bridge..
Sometimes, due to the weather..the boats wouldn't run..I used to get cabin fever bad...
The trip to the magellan islands is more...
cheers
Grassy

littlejohnny 07-04-2010, 12:20 AM a little late to reply but that car came off the pole and raced at thunder in the valley in port alberni a couple weeks later. another wonderful victoria mopar story. in fact, i bought my 68 notchback at the same event. an even better mopar story.

70DartMike 07-11-2010, 03:02 AM Yep, will be at Parksville Chrysler next weekend.
Mark, as for the Valiant, somebody backed into my car and then drove off before giving me his info.
And we're probably catching the 8:20 from Departure Bay.
littlejohnny 07-14-2010, 07:10 PM hey mark, wondered if you were on here. only pic really thats been taken of the car is someone else doing a burnout. remind me at thunder and ill tell you all about it. havent done much to it but im saving really hard. ogled a little too long a couple months back and well. ive found a bumper and a header panel. my body guy just lost his grandma so even though i was hoping to have it done for thunder, im not sure now. i happen to be a fan of barn finds as you know so couldnt really care less. saves me worrying about door dings all the time. anyway, see you at the thunder.
moopa 07-14-2010, 09:36 PM John,
I'll do my best to be there...I really enjoyed it last year.
