Ok I am not getting an Alt output on my 68 dart. The alternatotr only has a single Field output and a battery out out. I check the fusible link and its good, leads me think Alt or voltage Regulator . any inputs???

I found out my problem was a bad amp guage. All the current runs through it, if it's bad, nothing gets to the battery. Jumpering it with a stought 12AWG wire will tell you. chad72duster 09-21-2004, 10:11 PM it was the Alt like I thought. I checked continuity from the Alt to the starter realy and knew that like was good. The power runs from the Alt to the amp- meter and then to the starter relay through the fusible link. So when i checked the line from the alt to the starter relay that tells you that all of that is good. I kinda thought it was the Alt but never know with thes things. But I bet you already knew this. | |||
