Ohio or surrounding area Mopar club?

I was just wondering if there are any mopar clubs around the northeastern part of ohio. I have been attending a lot of events and would like to have some cool mopar guys to cruise with. Anybody know of a car club around here? or is anybody interested in getting together to go to events around here??

i guess nobody else has any idea either.oh well

There is the Mid-Ohio Mopars out of Wooster. I used to be an active member, but with home and work life don't do much with them any more. Their annual show and swap meet is the 29th and 30th at Dragway42.

i used to belong to the Ohio Mopar Association in
Columbus,Ohio.
a very good club, i don't know if they still exist
as i no long am a member, its been along time.
there used to be a cruise strip on Brice Rd.
it was stopped for a time, they were instrimental in
getting it started again as a car show.
this was in the mid 90's.
it was an outstanding club, they had everything from
antiques to full out drag racers.
there was a guy who ran a exibition mid-engine wheelie truck.
i hope their still a club and you can find them. :thumbup:

Have you ever stop by DQ on Cleveland Ave. North Canton. They have mini meets there every sunday and there is always mopar there.

I am from Macedonia, Ohio. I am also a former member of The Mid-Ohio Mopars. I attended the the annual show, swap meet and drag race this
year. The Solon Cruise is 6.5 miles from my house. They routinely have 750-800 cars on a Tuesday night. It's the biggest cruise in Ohio.

Nice Demon... Which hemi is that? Is it a crate-motor? Kinda looks like an older intake style..

I think we need something around here. There is a pretty good Mopar presence around here. Maybe we need to organize a Mopar only show and get everyone together and go from there. I know Summit has several shows, do they do a Mopar only???

i would like to get some of us together for a show sometime.would be cool to meet the mopar people in the area...

Wow I would love to join a mopar club but everyone has super nice cars and mine is still in aweful shape lol. Oh well one of these days she will be nice :)

Massillon here.....oh yeah there is no Mid-Ohio Mopar show and drag at 42 this year...they canceled it. That club is a joke anyway. I am all for a get-together. PM me with detail or post them on this thread. I'm in.

im in Uniontown (close to Akron) i dont see Magnolia being a problem

There is a Cruise in every friday night in the dayton area at Quaker Steak in Fairborn Its nothing major just guys getting together to hang out. I believe it starts either this friday or next But I will most likely always be there on friday nights anyone in the area should swing by. My Dart and my buddies Challenger are usually the only Mopars there it would be nice to have a few more.

Well I can't be going to Dayton.....that is way south for me.

magnolia is only about 40 miles from me should be no problem we will set something up

From Boardman (Youngstown) area. I'm interested in meetin up. Y-town area is a big GM town (Lordstown Cobalt plant) - no Mopar clubs that I know of around here. Let me know when you guys plan on getting together. Thanks, Joe :)

Ya I can...Dusterb318 is a great machanic... and I do body work... once my shop gets rebuilt

hmm knowing a body guy might come in handy. But i always use Atlas body shop on East Market St in Akron..

They are good.. very good but expensive from what I hear.. I am just a good ole country boy with a gift ... lol

that is very good twisted340. i only use atlas because i work right down the road from them and have known the owners for years.

Hey everyone in Ohio,
My brother has a 73 Duster Dragcar for sale in Atwater, Ohio. It has a 440, tubbed ,linelock, fiberglass hood and front bumper. If some of you used to go to Thompson Drag raceway the car was a gold color car called B.C. Then my brother got it and painted it red and named it Daddy's Toy and used to race it at Quaker City. and now he has it for sale for $6,800 or Best Offer It is race ready 11:20's in 1/4.

I would be interested in meeting up w/ some people in the Dayton area this summer. I am just North of Dayton in the Fairborn area. Usually the only meets I ever see are the Quaker Steak meets which everyone had started going to the BW3's in Beavercreek which has some decent turnouts in all classes and there is a car meet @ BW3's in Huber Heights on Saturdays but is mostly tuners. I won't be ready for a little bit we're going to get her ready for paint in the next couple of weeks.
Also the Fairborn car show is a diamond in the rough. I know one of the guys that hold it and he has a sweet Hemi Cuda and some other really nice muscle cars as do some other people in the area. I will try to find out the date but I think it is usually around July or August.

ya most likely..going to canfield...what date is that swap meet?never very much mopar stuff up there... I think they are all stashed (MOPARS) in the local barns...

4/27-4/29 - and your right, not much Mopar, but it only takes me finding one thing i'm looking for to make me happy. There was a guy there last year with great prices on weatherstrip. I also get a lot of body supplies there, and a lot of junk food!!!

i was at the Summit show last year seeing as how its 5 mins from my house. good turn out- i havent seen it on summits calender yet this year, so i hope they do it again. if they do i will be there

I used to be a member of the Mighty Mopars of Ohio located in the Amherst, Lorain area but the club is long gone as far as I know. I still cruise with a good friend with his 72 340 Demon. we go to shows together, Us in my 72 340 Duster. Will be at the Nats This Sat be not bringing the car. My buddy will be judging his Hemi Orange Demon.

Does anyone know if they still have the large cruise in Solon on Tuesday evenings, thought I saw someone on the site mentioning it.
