Battery cut off switch

So I'm looking at the rear of my 73 swinger and saying to myself: 'self, where the googly are you going to mount the battery cut off switch?'

All I see is drilling through the trunk AND bumper and mounting on the bumper. I'm not really into that but there sure as heck isnt a spot that is jumping out at me other than the very outside corners, which I'm thinking would look way out of place. So where have you mounted yours?

He is mine. Hardly noticeable just to the right of the license plate.

I made a bracket and mounted under the bumper on the right side. Just inside the right tailpipe. Passed tech no problem.

I used a switch with a long arm push pull knob. I drilled a 1/2" hold just above the bumper where its hard to see when the arm is removed. I take it out when I'm not going to the track. You don't even know its there. The switch is still in the trunk and can be used as a master shutoff. It takes five minutes to have it ready to race.

Wow, it really does blend when mounted on the bumper. I might take a look at making up a bracket. Thanks guys!
