shift kits

I need to drop the trans pan and change fluid/filter anyway, so I'd like to put in a shift improver kit at the same time. I've heard TranGo is the best there is. What do you guys say? This is for a 904 if it makes a difference. I want firm shifts that bark the tires when you get on it.

I have used B&M Shift Improver kits twice. Worked well. No problems. My 225 71 Dart used to give the one wheel chirp going to 2nd. My 77 Cordoba (two tons of fun) used to chirp both into 2nd. I have used B&M Manualpaks a few times.

Thanks Walter, I've decided to go with the B&M Shift Improver kit.

No problem, I think it gives you different performance and firmness levels too. When I got rid of the Cordoba I stuck a 318 in it and re-tweaked the valve body, it felt like a normal car again...
