I finally got my lock strip put on yesterday. I don't know how long ago the windshield was replaced, but they didn't put any clips on, so we had to use silicon sealant to attach the strip. The strip came off a junk '71 Valiant Scamp. I had purchased a lock strip last fall from a guy off of e-bay. When we tried to install it this spring, it wasn't even close to being what I needed. What a hassle! The seller was very indignant. He did take the strip back and refunded the purchase price, 4 weeks later! Anyway, I'm happy with how it looks.
