I've used rust o leum rattle can in the past, but allot of people use POR-15 rust inhinitor. I've used it on undercar places and it works awesome. Only problem is it takes a fair amount of preperation before applying.

I'm allmost ready to paint mine (10 point). I'll be using regular car paint to match my outside color.(Basecoat/Clearcoat) All I can think of is, to paint as much as I can while it is still out of the car. Just tape all the areas close to the weld points. Then after it's all welded in, I'll go back with a touch-up gun or airbrush to finish those areas. That's my plan, any better ideas?

I wiped mine down with lacquer thinner and shot it with Krylon gloss black, that was on molly. On mild steel I would use a good self etch then base/clear,or rattle can.
