I would like to see how many people that lives near me for when I get this duster up and running we should go to places and rep the MOPARS.

I think Slappy lives there.

My brother and I grew up just north of there in Stafford, he now lives 10 minutes from Summerduck Dragway and I am in Carolina but usually run at the track in Dinwiddie. So, he's just up the road and I'm not that far away. And I think you're right Leanna, Slappy is a Fredericksburg guy... I haven't been to Summerduck since I was a kid...

Yep been to all those places. I belong to Rappohannock Reginal Mopars good group. Also another is stafford classics

Am up in the northern Shenandoah Valley - Strasburg - about 20 miles south of Winchester. Not real close to Fredericksburg - about 85 miles or so.

Its Saturdays and people start getting there around 3pm and some stay till 12pm or later..

Eastern Shore of Virginia here.......I recently heard my 70 Roadrunner was purchased by a guy there where you are. I sold it in 96 to a mopar guy from Culpepper, its a post car, Vitamin c orange,(EK2)burn't orange(FK5) 383 magnum, auto on column with an (N96) Airgrabber hood...I finished the resto in 89....a very nice car (was) Seen it around?

I go to the BK cruise I go to 2 of them tracks also.. Summer duck is 26 miles and colonial beach is 36 miles and MIR is 50 miles one way from my house..

I'm about 50 miles from MIR as well. Capitol Raceway is much closer. But you guys have some awesome eighth-mile racing on that side of the river!

I go to North Carolina and run Northeast Dragway which is close to Elizabeth City N.C. and it's a 1/8mile track. Virginia Motorsports and Richmond Dragway sometimes.

I've been to one Father's Day show years ago. Not too many cars there, but there were three Superbirds, some AAR's (or clones).

Then at the TMC Mopar Madness show at VMP, I don't think I could find any of the same cars.

Years ago, both clubs traveled well to each others shows, what happened?

I race vintage motocross with an organization named AHRMA. I race 70s Bultacos in MX and an 83 Yamaha IT250 in Cross Country.

Definitely let me know about the paint. I'm going to try to wait until next spring (16 months) to get to paint.

Is there a Central Virginia Mopar Club ? I joined the Tidewater Mopar Club because I couldn't find any information that it was still a club, or i'm not looking in the right place.

Meanwhile the Chrysler Product Owners Club does most of the Mopar shows in northern, Virginia and the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC.
CPOC's southernmost show was in Warrenton, Virginia this year.

The nice weather is on the way and this past Friday night at the DQ on rt 208 had a bunch of cars there..Hopefully this means its gonna be a good year. The REV-X hangout is gonna start up in May..

I've never been, but I believe the Mopar Palooza is for the more modern Mopars than ours, like the Neons, Calibers, Vipers, and SRT Chargers and Challengers.

Last Friday evening it was unusually warm for March, so I took my blue 67 Coronet to the cruise in at Chik-Fil-A in Sterling. There was actually a pretty decent turnout of cars including a hand full of Mopars (68 & 69 Chargers, and a gold 72 Dart Swinger).

I believe the first Mopar show in the northern Virginia area is the Chrysler Product Owners Club show on Sunday morning, May 15th at Safford Chrysler Dodge in Warrenton, Virginia. Hope to see some FABO members there.

Well I was thinking of going to the CPOC event in Warrenton but found out it is the same weekend as the Mopar event at Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond - Petersburg area so we'll be heading down there instead.

Looking forward to seeing some Mopar drag racing! Nothing warms the heart like Mopars and burning rubber.
