Tonight, we moved FABO to our shiny new server!!!!

SO far everything looks great. We'll be lookng for bugs and tweaking settings. but so far it all looks pretty good. Please let me know if you find anything not working properly.

One more thing, Everyone owes the FABO Gold Members a big thank you. They keep this site running and paid for this new server!!!

I have always said that this is the absolute BEST Mopar site in the universe!!!! Going Gold is the least you can do to be able to help out those who run this site and spend countless hours with issues when there are problems. Great to be a little help in getting the new server. I would advise anyone who reads this to become a Gold member. The benefits far outweigh the opposite. Way to go FABO!!!!

The server is the computer that powers the website. But its not like a computer you ahve at home its way more powerful and configured much differently.

I used to have trouble uploading pictures but after I went Gold they would upload just fine. They would upload at a higher speed also.

Well it took me long enough but now I am Gold. Wheres the blue room!?!?! LOL

Thanks for the great work, I just signed up for a gold account! I think we should all become gold members, Ive only been here a couple of months, and I have met some really great people, also sold, and bought alot of stuff, not to mention the great advise. Did we have a crash or something last night? I was entering the day's events on my "Beginning of the end . . . " thread in Members Restorations, I was almost done and wanted to pick a smile from the "more" section and got a "Server ..." error? I gues it could be the comcast server? It's all good now so no big deal - since I was able to save my typing efforts to a word doc and repost this morning. OK I'm going gold now.

Any chance on getting a "forum jump" on the bottom, like the "other body's" have now that there's a new server?

First I want to say thanks to everyone who has made this place possible!!!

There are a few issues though.

one was mentioned already and that is that a few days ago I noticed all my smile icons are rearranged! The ones I normally use were front row and center and now I would have to search through the list of them to find them and its a bit of a hassle. Not sure if this was related to the server change or something you did on your own.

and the second issue which to me is a big issue because it is what allows me to contact people promptly and for example someone wants to buy something I have or someone I want to buy something from contacts me ,it allows for a fast transaction.

anyhow the issue is that prior to the server change....whenever I recieved a PM on fabo I would INSTANTLY receive an email notifying me of it.....now "post server update" its sporadic at best. the PM you sent out in reguards to the server update did not notify my email until a good 4 hours later and another member that PM'ed me it took almost 3 hours before I was notified.

I know this is not an issue on my end and I know it happened when the server was changed.

so hopefully thats something that is an easy fix because I would hate for a situation to come about where someone says "hey you can have this part and Ill get it shipped out before I head out on vacation but you have to get with me in the next 30 minutes" and then not be notified by email until 4 hours later HAHAHAHA.

P.S. Im going gold at the beginning of febuary (waiting on my check)to contribute. Fabo rocks!

Mute point compared to Cooling . (err, #of fans & Mil Spec board ?).

Latency now < 1sec, refresh rate < 2Ms.

hahaha, selfish post I suppose. (I type reeeaaallly slooo).

Having issues with the top banner since the upgrade. The three files never download or display and after running for a while I.E. 8 displays the red "x"s at the top. Image files in question are:

Even if I type the full URL for any of the three... browser just waits until it finally times out and nothing is displayed... odd.

Seemed to be fine until I cleared the browser cache. Only issue I have noticed.
