Ok heres the deal I need a driveshaft for my 71' with a 727 and 8 3/4 741 case.

My car has a poorly shortend unbalanced one from a 76 Gran fury four door. This I know because it has the junk yard grease pencil markings on it. I can hear slag inside it rolling around even.

If anyone has one int he province and wants to sell it let me know

Nope, dont think it's gonna fit. The 904 slip yoke will fit in the 727 trans, but,I believe the 727 has longer tailshaft. If not, the 8 3/4 is definitely longer in the pinion area than the 7.25. You'll have to get that shaft shortened regardless.

Hope this helps...

there is a factory one that fits,,,problem is I don't know which one. I bought my duster and it had a drive shaft and a 4 speed in the trunk. sold the 4 speed but put a 383 and a 727 (it already had the 83/4 in it) in the car. Tryed the drive shaft just for shits a giggles and it fit. So I don't know if the shaft was from the donar 300 or came with the 4 speed but it wasnt custom made
