Quarter Panel Surgery

Cut into my Dart today. Found a lot of yuck, but all in all, the remains are in still in pretty solid shape. I'm amazed at the thickness of the original body skins. No wonder the older cars are so heavy, (took 36 years to rust through). Includes a couple of pics. Howard (the lower right corner shows the accumilation before I got the pressure washer to blast out all the yuk).

lookin good, to bad i aint that far, how do the new replacement pannels fit, where did you get em? i need some for my cuda, and i wanna know how well they fit, hopefully they arnt as bad as my fender patches :cussing:

JC whitney. I'm not too impressed with the quality of the panels. They are flimsy, with some body work required to the panels themselves. I decided to leave more of the original panel to maintain some integrity. Howard
