Slow Board?

For the last couple of days I have found the board to be awful slow for parts of the day. From about 11:00 am to 3:00 pm it is slower than cold molasses. Anybody else having this problem?

I know it's not on this end as other sites are ripping right along. This is at the office where I have a T1 hook-up.

Yep, there's some problems. Seems this new server is having some problems with MySQL, which the host's admins told me wouldn't happen if I moved to this new server.

I'm surprised they haven't cut off access to all of the sites I'm responsible for (including this one) - I've been firing off angry e-mails, leaving really pissed off voice mails and threatening the help desk people (and the people they immediately escalate my calls to) who dare to answer the phone.

Hopefully it'll be straightened out by this evening.

Yep, same here. Very slow, especially today.

I thougfht it was my computer being slow. A couple sites I vist have been slow. How ever I knoew we were having a bigger problem. I keep getting the error page also.

You're getting the MySQL error message? If so, please copy & paste it here or e-mail it to me.

Of course. I just sent off an e-mail with times, server names, error messages, etc. All sort of usefull information, they're gonna come by and say "It's working fine now" without telling me what's going on.

Looks lik its working a bit better this evening.

I got this note today:

"I sincerely apologize for the issues you have been experiencing. We have recently suspended an account that looked to be causing these slowdowns and lockups.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."

We'll see if this makes any difference...

The site that was causeing the slowdowns was reinstated with instructions to remove the scripts causing the slowdown. If the same site causes this to happen again it will be permenently suspeded. We do apologize for the inconvinience this may have caused you or your clients.

Looks like they haven't corrected the problem, I am very slow.

It's being unusually slow for me this morning. Almost a minute to open a thread, and I have DSL service.
