For 8 years girls have been telling me to fix him cause he'll get prostrate cancer.He is well mannered and listens.I figured its a woman control thing.I don't wanna hurt him!

No. Keep the gonads. Adds character and identity to the animals. I have seen some weird behavior - dogs when they get fixed. They also get fat and lazy from what I have seen.

That's why I rescued a girl puppy, fixed from the kennel. No worries.

They can get prostate cancer neutered or not, some breeds is more common, if I remember correctly it's larger breeds that are more susceptible. I would suggest more research on your specific breed to see if it makes a difference.

It was strange to me hearing that they can get prostate cancer just by getting neutered.

I agree, only reason why my dobie, Mack, got cut was because he was proving to be overly difficult(i.e an overt shit-head). Even than I waited until he was a year and a half and had matured to the point that the hormone imbalance cutting causes during their growing phase wouldn't happen. At 8 he is who he is and if hes going to have problems its going to happen with or without being neutered. Voted no.
