numbers on my cam...do they mean anything?

ok...i pulled the dizzy, and behind the drive gear on the cam is "1103" cast into it
on the other side of the cam is what appears to be "F 8" stamped into it

and it's purple...were all mopar cams purple??

Sorry I don't know much about Mopar engines, especially the big blocks. But I doubt seriously a number cast into the camshaft has anything to do with the grind. That is more likely a common core used for many different cams. The F 8 may actually mean something though.

That's what I've heard, and the reason they call them 'purple shafts'. :D
