Winter Storage

I've got water + Water Wetter in my radiator now. I'm done racing, so the car will be going into my unheated garage for the winter.

I usually drain the radiator and fill it with antifreeze & water before storing it. But I will probably need to pull the heads off sometime soon, and it gets messy draining the radiator in the garage.

Can I store it with NOTHING (no water, no antifreeze, etc) in the radiator or block? What would happen if it gets below freezing?

Without any antifreeze you could develope light surface rust in
the water jackets and radiator over the winter. Don't think
to harmfull should be able to flush it all away. Try to drain
the block as well as possible though. I would run some
antifreeze through the system before you drain it all down
just for some protection.

Well, I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to put ANY antifreeze in it, right now I've got coolant (water) in the oil and I'm not sure where it's coming from. I was hoping to avoid getting any antifreeze into the oil pan.
