Will the rear bumper panels interchange from a 70 to a 76? I'm already in the process of hanging rear quarters on my 76 dart so I figure if I already have the spot weld cutter out why not cut off the rear panel and swap it out with one from a 70 dart. Has anyone ever tried this?

the entire rear panel is different, 70 has the tail lights i nthe bumper and has a lower valance. 76 the lights are in the rear panel, and no rear valance panel.

If you already have the spotweld cutter out all you have to do is find the rear panel off of a 70 to 73 Dart and replace yours with it because on a 74 and up the quarter panels are the same its just the panel where the bumper bolts to has changed and the small finish panels on the end of each quarter are slightly different. If you can find those parts its just remove and replace. And hey while youre at it why not change the front end over to a 70 also!
Good luck with the cut and paste!
