904 convertor in a 727

I read somewhere that you can use a 904 torque converter to get a good stall for a 727 trans . Is this true , can this be done safely ? I know someone here knows the answer . thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure to recieve .

904 converter will not fit a 727 trans.....different hub sizes...
