Could you guys post some pictures or point me in the right direction for modifying the transmission mount to install an A518 (46RE) transmission in my 69 Valiant. I have the upper cross section cut out already. :prayer:

I haven't done it so I don't know but if you use the search button you can find numerous threads on this subject and I remember seeing some pics in them.

I've tried that. Hard to sift through and find good pictures,. I though this way I could get them direct. I'm still looking for any advice & pics. Thanks

Unless you're set on having an all mopar drive train, go get an adapter from http://www.wilcap.com/mopar.html , a GM 200R4 and have at it. The tranny isn't electronically controlled, is smaller then both the 904 and 727. However like the 904 it needs to be built up internal and like the 904 takes less HP to power then a 727! :burnout:

Thank you but, that is not what I was looking for. I have a brand new Mopar Performance A518 transmission. It's the lower transmission cross member modification I need to know about. I guess there is some cut & chop required. I do not care if it's all Mopar at this stage. I'm using a Strange FORD 9" rear so I'm contaminated already....LOL.
