The later ones (73-up?) were a little longer and supposedly a little stronger. One of the late model mini starters should work too. 340mopar 03-28-2007, 12:19 PM I concure, the starters will interchange between engines, /6, SB, BB. The longer one dusterdon is talking about has a little longer motor body. Chuck jam4ever 03-31-2007, 10:08 AM Would a high torque from a 94 - 01 Ram 318 or 360 also work? dartcuda 03-31-2007, 10:26 AM Yes as others have stated it will work. Plus to my understanding the ones for the bb have an extra copper wire in them to help with the higher torque needed for the bb, | |||
