adding pictures to your posts

go to photoisland.com ( or any other photo hosting site) and register. It's free.

Then upload your photo's there. It's easy.

Click on the photo you want to post and it will enlarge. Go to the lower left part of your screen and click on "link for auction" it will pull up a box and then click the highlight button. The address of the picture will turn blue. Right click your mouse and then click copy.

Now open another browser to here and start your thread. When you are ready to put your pic in type this.

[ img]PASTE YOUR PIC[/ img]

Now do not leave any spaces in anything. To paste just right click the mouse again and hit paste.

Done

It's a Photoisland issue. Sometimes their servers just aren't available, so you get a big red 'X'.

i use photoisland too and its never gave me probs!how many pics can u hav in your set up adam they only let me hav like 5 pics in there space at a time!

Not that I can think of... Do a GIS for "free image hosting" or something like that.

Photoisland is OK, but sometimes the links just don't work.

This morning the pics are there, but others that I have been able to see are no longer visible, but have the big ole red X in the post spot. It must be something with Photoisland or my own machine. Can anyone else see my pics in my posts? At the old Board, Chad tole me he couldn't see my pics sometiems but then again, sometimes he could. I'm not sure what I should do.

Oh well, any suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven't used Photoisland in a while, but I remember that the links used to expire after a while and I would have to go back and re-create the links. Other times they would just timeout altogether and I'd get nothing.

I think I will get one of the kids to try this.I'm obviously an idiot.
