Does anyone have a choke shaft that will fit a Holley 4160 8007 390cfm carburetor? The part sold by Summit doesn't fit, and I haven't had any luck in the local yards.

Do you need the shaft that hold the choke plate or something else?

If it's the shaft I may have both that and a plate. Might need a measurement of the opening to confirm.

Yeah, I need the shaft that holds the choke plate. I'll measure the opening this afternoon, but I can tell you that the diameter has to be smaller than 0.317 (that's the size of the shaft from Summit that's too big).

I just took a measurement of the carburetor, and the diameter looks like it's about 0.6 centimeter. I also checked a technical diagram of a 4160 carb and compared it to pictures of my model, and it looks like the choke shafts are one and the same.

0.6 cm is about 0.2 inches. I 'll see if I can drill it out tonight.

I believe I have one. Let me know if you still need it after all these other replys
