I'm going back to electric fan. I just can't get any heat in the motor with a flex fan. It wants to run 155 to 165. It will slowly and I mean slowly heat up if it idles in hot weather for a while. I ran dual smaller fans last time and they restricted pretty much all the air flow unless they were on. I had to run them at 55mph. I want the fan to clear the water pump pully so it needs to be 3 1/4 inch and I want some cfm. Probably at least 2500. Any suggestions?

Can you go with a push fan & mount in front of the radiator?

I could but it would have to be smaller than 16" and if it kicks on at highway speed the blades can get into the radiator. This happened to ZEATER last fall.
