Can anyone tell me if the sbp disc brake setup on my '69 Dart uses the same upper control arm as the drum setup? I just got a complete disc set, and one of the uca ball joints is welded in :x , and I don't know if I'll be able to salvage it. Thanks.

Upper control arm is diffrent with disc brakes then drums...
You have Kelsey-Hayes disc drums if they are small bolt pattern discs...
Propably you can't save the uca if somebody has weld it...
Sorry about your bad luck with that uca.

Sorry Kako but your wrong!
The upper control arm is the same, the only thing that is different is the lower ball-joint.
It's a little longer than the drum brake ball-joint.

I did the sbp disc swap on my Scamp last winter and used the upper control arm from my drum brakes,i compared them and they are EXACTLY the same!

I know that the upper is different on the 4 1/2 on 5 pattern with the larger ball joints, but I wasn't sure on the sbp. Hopefully, it'll be the same.
