GREETINGS, I HAVE A 1968 BARRACUDA 340S FASTBACK WHICH IVE RECENTLY CONVERTED FROM A TRAILER QUEEN TO A DRIVER. 340, 509
CAM,STOCK COMPRESSION, SINGLE PLANE INTAKE, 750 DBL PMPR, MP
ELECTRONIC IGNITION AUTOMATIC 3800 JW CONVT, 410 GEAR, MT DOTS. RUNS 8:40S 1/8 MILE. THE 750 IS WORN OUT AND IM DEBATING
ON ANOTHER 750 OR THE NEW HOLLEY STREET AVENGER. ANYONE HAVE THOUGHTS ON THIS. I RACE ONCE A WEEK AND MAKE SHORT TRIPS .

With that Cam,Converter and Gear I would use a Double Pumper.

Essentially, a Street Avenger is a double pumper with vacuum secondaries.

THE 750 IS WORN OUT

Get the throttle shafts re-bushed and throw a rebuild kit in it. There's not much else that can wear out.
