slick questions

hey guys whats up, just started the race season on friday, my question is my dart was running 7.55 to 7.52 in the eighth. the sixty ft ranged from 1.64 to 1.66 but the car woudn't hook I could feel the car jolt as it came out. I have 26" mt on the rear right now. what would I lose if I switch to 28" tall tires.

You may not actually be spinning. But it would be a good idea to have somebody specifically watch what your rear tires and suspension are doing.

Going up 2" in slick height would be like dropping at least a full gear step with the same tire.
i.e.: 4.89 to 4.56

There are charts available, but I can't find one at the moment.

It's difficult to say how that will affect your 60' and ET even if we knew your whole combo!
