Just got a 3310 for my 408 and wondered if they are worth doing. I'm gonna rebuild the carb, and since it's apart anyway.....:shaking2:

thanks

Dave

personally, id sell it and put a nice 4150 style carb on that motor. the 4160 you have is a "tame" carb, good for all around use, but IMHO, you'll never see the full potential from the new motor. its a night and day experience on how a mechanical secondary 4150 feels when you punch it compared to a 4160 vacum secondary. this is all provided you have the carbs tuned equally too though. most people put a 4150 on and say what a piece of S*** it is because it bogs so much---its all in the tuning of them.

I've got a 3310 that I put a Proform main body on. It's better than it was, I picked up about 1/2 a tenth, but I'd rather have a 4150. I just don't have the cash for one right now... :-(
