FISHBREATH 07-18-2008, 05:19 PM Somewhere in my memory banks I seem to remember reading something about a C-body pan for linkage clearance. Anything to this? dazedduster 07-18-2008, 06:35 PM pan stamped 187 is the pan, but it dont help with extra oil rumblefish360 07-18-2008, 08:47 PM I remember what you guys said. Now that C body pan.... does it have the OE baffles in it? My 78 400 has the fctor baffled pan. dazedduster 07-18-2008, 09:03 PM from what i'v been told no 187 pans came with baffles, but i swear i saw a picture on here a ong time ago of one that had them Longgone 07-18-2008, 09:38 PM from what i'v been told no 187 pans came with baffles, but i swear i saw a picture on here a ong time ago of one that had them That was probably me. I posted a pic of mine. They make them but they`re rare with baffles. The 699 pan is similar to the 187 and can be used as well as the 402. Milodon makes a large capacity pan if you need more oil. rumblefish360 07-18-2008, 09:44 PM Hows street clearance with the Milodon? Longgone 07-18-2008, 11:48 PM Hows street clearance with the Milodon? Poor, but streetable if you pick your routes carefully. FISHBREATH 07-19-2008, 07:33 AM http://www.440source.com/oilpans.htm There is a good chart at the bottom of the page. I will look around for more info on the C-body pan...I know I saw it somewhere. | |||
