best bb oil pan

what is the best bb oil pan to use for clearance-extra oil - on a 68 a - body 4 speed.

Somewhere in my memory banks I seem to remember reading something about a C-body pan for linkage clearance. Anything to this?

pan stamped 187 is the pan, but it dont help with extra oil

I remember what you guys said. Now that C body pan.... does it have the OE baffles in it? My 78 400 has the fctor baffled pan.

from what i'v been told no 187 pans came with baffles, but i swear i saw a picture on here a ong time ago of one that had them

That was probably me. I posted a pic of mine. They make them but they`re rare with baffles. The 699 pan is similar to the 187 and can be used as well as the 402. Milodon makes a large capacity pan if you need more oil.

There is a good chart at the bottom of the page. I will look around for more info on the C-body pan...I know I saw it somewhere.
