Fenders?

Here's a simple one. Are the fenders off of a 70 Dart the same as a 72 Dart/Demon? Fenders only, not extensions.

No and the 1 reason I say that is the side marker lights are different.

70-71 are recessed in the fenders and on the 72's the are set outside(raised) fenders.

not pos. on this but I think the wheel opening molding is different so that would make the openings different.

The marker lights are different. I'm not worried about that as I would be filling them in anyway.
My fenders on my 72 Demon have no mouldings on the wheelweels at all. The only added pieces are the extensions, (again no mouldings there) and the Demon name plate. That's why I was asking the original question.

ok I just came in from measuring and the 2 demon's and the 71 darts fenders all come up the same in measurements and where the creases are above the lights .


so i would say they are the same except for the marker lights which you really don't care anyway.

and in my parts book the 70/71 darts fender are the same to.
