I know some of you are a little upset with the changes, Please just give them some time. I a few weeks you'll be use to them. Theres lots of new option, plenty to explore and play with. Grab a cold beer and start poking around. I'd hate to see anyone leave because they're scared of change.

I started this site out of the love of Mopars. I'm very proud of it and Im still and always will be amazed at how successful its become. I wouldnt be able to say that if it wasnt for you guys.

I have pretty limited knowledge of computers and I reached my limits of what I could do for the site. There was lots of changes I wanted to make but didnt know how and didnt have the time to learn. Mikel always helped me out but I didnt want to bug him with every little thing. He has his own sites to work on.

The site was also keeping me away from getting anything done on my car and spending time with my wife and son. The site had gotten big enough were I was spending alot of time fixing peoples accounts, returning email and editing post. Not that I had a problem doing that. its just time consuming.

When Joey asked about buying the site I asked lots of question and looked around his site for awhile. I liked the way he had his site set up and he was very concerned with everyone being happy with the changes he planned to make.

I still feel I made the right choice for bolth the board and myself. Just please give it sometime. Theres a lot of work that goes in to these boards and they take time. :salut:

Adamr ,I'm fairly new to this site but I new the first time I was here that it was a good thing. I don't think this change will hurt it one bit, once the people get used to it and the bugs get ironed out it will be business as usual. I applaud you for having the guts to do this and laying the groundwork for an awesome site. Thanks

I know this will all work out.... It's just hard getting used to it all. I have limited time to screw around on this site and I find myself fumbling.

Oh well....I'll adapt http://community.the-underdogs.org/smiley/armed/cut.gif

What's to complain about ? You guys are doing a great job. Adam you ought to be proud as a peacock, this site is awesome. So you sold it , big deal . Good for you ! Spend the money on your wife , son or car . You earned it . Don't let the complaining get you down, if they don't like it let them go somewhere else . They will be back . Just my 2 cents. I really like the site. I dont do real good on this keyboard but love to check out all the emails and chat rooms. got back from texas with the 65 barracuda its sweet. a grandmoms for sure, 273 motor, all original inside and out, numbers matching, factory air that works. seats and carpet worn but not torn. would anyone know just how many years they made five on four lug pattern . it still has the original hubcaps and thirteen inch tires.

I also just found the site and I think its great. The same thing happened at the Binder Bulletin (a site for International Scouts and Trucks) the guys that were used to it one way, didnt care for the changes, but when they had to get used to it they did and most liked it better

I don't know all the history on this site, but I gather Adam started it and recently sold it to Joey? Something like that right?

In 2000 I started a website about some TV shows, it grew and grew and got really outta hand with over 3000 users and 250,000+ hits a day. I got moderators, upgraded software, installed a database, got domain names and advertising and servers.......it took up all my time! Seriously, I was on there 8 hours a day or more.

Eventually I got tired and now I have 2 small children and I have other interests, like my car and friends and family and stuff. In Aug. 2005 I sold the site to the moderators, they plan to keep it running as a group thing. It was the hardest thing I've ever done, giving it up. It was my baby, but I either had to shut it down or walk away and watch others take it over. It was just too much to deal with.

Now, I feel sorta good knowing it's still alive and I'm free from it, but it will always be something I can be proud of. It was never about money, but if they make a million dollars I'll be pissed, but that's life I guess! :)

Thats correct. I started the site in Feb of 03 using a free board. we grew so fast that with in a few months we kept overloading the server. One of the members (Mikel Beck) does web hosting so I signed up with him. He helped me set up the site and make sure everything was running smooth. Last winter Joey asked if I was interested in selling and seeing I was alittle strapped for cash it just seemed like the thing to do. Joey's doing a good job so I have no regrets but I did miss having my own place so I started up another. :thumblef:

Adam , I think you really hit a home run with the creation of this site and I`m sure it was tough to sell it,much like sending your kids off to college. I think you and Mike have done a great job and Joey has followed up very well.(Taking it to the next level.)I`m certain the site will continue to grow and prosper. I think I can speak for all the members when I say, thanks for giving us all a place to share our ideas, our work, and our passion for these disappearing breed of cars.
