TheDemonator 05-23-2008, 10:42 AM I am planning on being there... without the Demon. I will probably be hanging around the Mid Peninsula Mopar club awning, chatting with Stu, the guy I got my Demon from.
Thrashard... if you still need a sunroof, I can bring the one that I have in my back yard.
TheDemonator 05-23-2008, 10:45 AM Drive west on I-80 through Fairfield, then take 680 south. Get off at the Mission Blvd exit and take a left. Continue down Mission and you will see it on the left.

I think coming from that way it would be on the right. Or am i turn around?:toothy10:
Thrashard340 05-23-2008, 10:48 AM Thrashard....Bring the gear, well have a Mopar Ralley Jam. lol
LOL! Yeah, however, we would probably have to dial it down to family friendly. :supz:
TheDemonator 05-23-2008, 10:51 AM Unless they moved it... it was on the left of Mission last year

Brian, I only need the crank assembly and not the whole sunroof. I'll PM you.
I met Stu at the SF Rod and Customer show. Nice guy.

Ive seen the turn out, i dont think they will care about Family Frendly. We'll play heavy stuff, They wont even understand us. lol

You're going to be coming from Santa Clara so you would take 680 North to Mission Blvd. Exit right (or north) onto Mission Blvd and keep driving until you see the college on the right side.
sublimeswinger 05-23-2008, 10:54 AM Unless they moved it... it was on the left of Mission last year
Ya just looked at the map. Your right, i come from a different way. My right, your left. lol
Thrashard340 05-23-2008, 10:55 AM Unless they moved it... it was on the left of Mission last year
This is correct from the direction that you are coming from. There are actually 2 Mission Blvd exits off of 680 that sandwich the college.
TheDemonator 05-23-2008, 10:55 AM I am sure that Stu will be there with his 69 RR... he is so proud of his baby! I would be too if it were mine!
I suppose that I can bring the crank handle... and I can throw the sunroof away!

Is his RR have a 426? I just saw one at a small show here on Wedsneday.
TheDemonator 05-23-2008, 11:06 AM No... his RR is the "standard" 383 powered car

nice, Demonator. Stu's a great guy, and I'll be finding his location as well I am sure!
edit: I am not sure whether I'll wear my Super Bee t-shirt or my Magnumforce T-shirt, but it'll be one of those for sure.

Don't you have a FABO shirt? :-D
sharpie 05-28-2008, 11:32 PM Don't you have a FABO shirt? :-D
I would, if I could order one in anything less than an XL :angel9: I am a medium and even those are big on me sometimes....
lilcuda 05-29-2008, 05:48 PM I'll be there. Not sure exactly what time. Maybe around 9 am. If I can get the clutch adjusted properly and go on a shakedown drive on Saturday, I may bring my Barracuda. It won't be in the show, though.
BubbaCuda 05-29-2008, 11:04 PM Will you be driving the barracuda? I would like to check out those rims/tires on your car since I haven't bought tires for my cragars yet.
Yea i will more them likely drive the Cuda to the show
Fst73_360 05-30-2008, 01:06 AM not going after all sorry
bb66cuda 06-01-2008, 11:41 PM Don't know if I met any of you guys out there, talked to quite a few people at my spot in the swap meet. Saw redfastbacks car out there but everytime I walked by there was no one there.

i could only do a quick run thru the swap area. i too wish i could of met some members.
Blues65 06-02-2008, 09:22 AM I was there on the end with my Dark Blue Barracuda in the A Body area, I looked for redfastback there too (car but no driver) but did get a chance to meet him at the Goodguys show Saturday. I talked to a lot of guys about Early A engine and transmission issues and a few former Marines. I was also able to find an extra Early A clutch pedal assembly for 40 bucks, over all a good car guy weekend.
sublimeswinger 06-02-2008, 09:50 AM Nice show! It was good to meet and talk to you Steve, Thanks for the shirt and hooking me up Gary. He has what i need.:thumbrig:

You must have bought that from me. I was the one selling all the early a body parts.
Blues65 06-02-2008, 10:25 AM I noticed two 4 speed pedal assemblies but only talked with one person about buying an extra one. I am running a Mopar Scallop clutch and the pedal pressure is much greater than a 10.5 diaphragm or standard 9.5 inch Borg & Beck clutch. I actually ripped one of the factory lever welds off of the Z-bar last summer. A rebuilt pedal assembly seemed like good insurance. I do appreciate the deal bb66cuda; I believe I mentioned that it made my day.
bb66cuda 06-02-2008, 10:29 AM Sure, I'm glad someone on this website got it. I didn't know what it would be like selling parts out there, haven't done it before but it was a good experience.

I think I talked to you for a few minutes. I didn't run into any other FABO members yesterday. Too bad. I didn't have a lot of time to hang out unfortunately. Only a couple of hours.
I did run into some old friends, including the former owner of my Barracuda.
Blues65 06-02-2008, 02:36 PM Cool lilcuda, I guess I might have talked to others on FABO too.

I missed this whole thread, but I was there (I'm the former owner of Lee's Barracuda and it seemed like a lifetime ago that I sold that car - let's see my 22yo son wasn't even born yet). The car looked great. I got some pics.
Had a good time, as usual. Sold some parts, had to replace the water pump in my Ramcharger in Livermore on the way home (it had enough time to cool down while I was eating an In-N-Out burger and my son was getting the pump.
I'm not sure how many members I talked to, though.
