You can use almost any brakes then. Just get from the housing out: backing plates, shoes, springs, adjusters, drums, etc. Any big pattern car set-up should work. I went with 11 inch set-up. I didn't like the shape of the backing plates I had, I ordered new ones from the dealer. I think I said 80 something Diplomat. The big pattern with big brakes axles will make flange to flange slightly wider. 1/2 inch or so? 68GTconvert 07-12-2004, 06:42 PM I got b-body brakes. Moser asked me to specify which body style the brakes came off. shupe 07-15-2004, 02:55 PM I got the Moser axles and B body brakes for my 69 Fish. Be aware that this setup will move the wheels out an inch or two. I needed more wheel backspace with the Moser setup than I did stock. -Shupe ps first post! Nice site and forum. | |||
