Magnum Heads

Anyone have experience usint Magnum heads on earlier small blocks? I am considering them for a 273. Any experiences or ideas?

Ive have set I just sent to the Machine shop. What do you need to know?

Was thinking of using them on a 273. Would the magnum heads improve the performance? And, would it be worth the time and money?

I just bought a set from my local junk yard for $150 w/ rockers. Im putting them on my 318 along with a procharger..

Yes the flow much better then the stock 273 heads. they actually flow better then the 340 X heads but have smaller ports, better volity and a better, smaller combustion chamber. They also have a 1.6 ratio rocker arm so you'll get alittle more lift out of your cam.
