I am glad that this is what has been done. Every mopar forum that i go on is totally COVERD with political crap! If i wanted to hear that $**! i would join a political forum. All it is going to do is piss everyone off. We are all supposed to be hear to help each other when needed , not to argue like children.

So can we make the political forum go away after the election and go back to arguing over Mopars?

Not sure why people have a problem with a dedicated political forum. I think it's a good idea. If you don't want to get involved, don't. Sort of like the radio - when a song comes on that you don't like, you change the station or turn it off.

The political discussions will probably die down when the election is over. It's a historic election, you'd have to have been living in a cave for the last year not to know this. It's what's on people's minds no matter who you're voting for because the issues are really starting to affect people directly.

Good descision to make a seperate forum though to appease all in favor and to get it out of the general discussion for those that don't like it.

An excellent idea, kudo's to FABO  I get tired of people injecting their political views into every thread. Lets hope the anti-matter(s) containment vessel will hold!:-D

The members here at FABO have NEVER injected their political views into every thread........this place is a proud place, with respectful members for the most part who don't take advantage of a thread by getting off subject...and when they do stray, they generally apologize and get back on subject.

This is a great site.

The political views should stay within the "News and Politics" forum.

The forum should also be treated with a little respect, as are the others. It's abusive and disrespectful rhetoric that should be "contained". If you don't like it, don't go there.

Adam, there are a number of guys who appreciate the forum.........and if there is any way to filter it out of the "new posts" listing, like some others who have mentioned it previously, I'd be all for it. No real need for it.

Don't know if it's possible with the current software........It could help make it less of an issue in general though.

Later.......... Doc
