Brake Pushrod Length?

Anybody know how long a brake pushrod is supposed to be?

I bought an adjustable one, because I think the one I have is too short. But the adjustable one, even when it's adjusted as small as it can go, is about 3/4" longer than the old one.

I had to cut it down. I had the MP one at first, but I wasn't going to cut a $65 rod. So I bought an adjustable rod from Master Power for $24 and cut it. Best I can tell you is to do what I did. Cut a little, and check it, cut a little more, and check it. Keep doing this until it's right. Hope this helps...

I've Wilwood's on mine and I also got the Master from them along with the adapter plate. Believe it or not, a '73 disc brake 'A' rod was perfect. Go figure?
