4 speed hump?

Will it be the same location from a small block car to a big block car? To explain. Lets say we have a slant or small block dart with a 4 speed. Granted the block is longer on a BB but would the tranny mounts remain the same thus keeping the hump in the same location? Do the motor mounts move forward to compensate for the additional length of the larger block? Clue me in.
