Fan Pulley

Hey guys:

Trying to install a shroud on my 340.

Removed the 4 bolts that run through the flange of the clutch fan, which goes through the pulley, that attaches to the water pump.

What else is holding it on?

Seriously, The shaft on the water pump centers the pulley and fan clutch and it doesn't take much corrosion or crud to make it hang up. Some "light taps" with a hammer should loosen it up.

It was rusted alright!

I used an old sharp wood chisel between the pulley and fan flange and slowly spread it apart while turning it.

This time it's getting anti sieze.
