I am installing new electronic ignition in my 340. ( the little orange box on the firewall) When doing this, do I use an internal resisitor coil or and external resistor coil? thanks

You can switch to an internal one but you need to be sure the coil will be compatable. Some coils especially the e-core coils will draw to much current and could damage the ecu. cuda66273 08-06-2005, 01:50 PM Read some of these tech articles... http://www.4secondsflat.com/Technical_Information_for_Ignition_and_Carburetion .html freshayr 08-06-2005, 04:13 PM thanks guys!!! that's what I needed to know. Some good stuff in those tech articles. I'll spend some time tomorrow morning with them. | |||
