I cut to the chase and went for exactly what the eye Dr. himself was wearing. Frameless & hinge-less, no little screws to fall out. If you keep them on your face at all times except sleeping you won't lose or damage them. Wouldn't own any other kind, same pair 3+ yrs. Sorry I'm no help in the style department.:glasses4: skybolt 08-21-2009, 02:25 PM Get the lightest weight and most comfortable-feeling glasses you can find. Sorry I'm no help in the style department.:glasses4: Flexon frames. I once set on mine and bent them right back to original shape. I have probably had mine for 10 years, just different prescriptions. They are very light weight. Like goldfish says, light is very important. They do have a frame around the glass and support the lenses far better than the frame-less. Get the best poly-carbonate you can afford. Strong and lightweight. ALWAYS clean your glasses under running water, never dry with a hanky or kleenex. I consider myself as somewhat of an expert as I have been wearing them for 58 years. lol homecloned 08-21-2009, 02:36 PM http://www.morethings.com/music/buddy_holly/buddy-holly23423.jpg skybolt 08-21-2009, 02:44 PM Yes homecloned. He's probably are purchased some by now providing he can find the doctor's office. lol Rice Nuker 03-25-2011, 10:19 PM At Sears I got my eye exam and some rugged black - tortoise frames with slight amber / red tinted polycarbonate. Light, rugged, practically safety goggles. Price was right too! This image shows more of a sun glasses lens. Mine are almost clear.
