MP master cylinder size

I have a manual brake 70 Dart. I put on discs in the front and have bigger drums running on the rear already. It stops ok but the front brakes drag because I left the drum master on and the residual pressure valves and for drums. I bought a MP Aluminum master 1-1/32 because it was recommended over the 15/16 due to better feel and less travel than the smaller piston. What are the experiences you've all had with these different masters? (before I put it on this weekend and am sorry.)

Its the same one that I put on my duster. Seems to work fine to me. I would consider putting a heat shield under it if you have big block or headers because aluminum transfers heat much faster than cast iton.
